Construction Litigation Attorney
Nelson Mullins is looking to add an experienced Junior Construction Litigation Partner to join its Construction Law & Litigation group in Florida, located in the Orlando office. About the role
You will join a knowledgeable team involved in litigation, claims analysis and risk management, and large-scale infrastructure programs and projects (procurement, contracting, and claims).
Responsibilities
- Handle complex construction litigation cases from start to finish through all forms of dispute resolution, including trial
- Conduct court hearings, with a focus on dispositive motion practice
- Analyze complex fact patterns and apply applicable case and statutory law to develop litigation and trial strategies
- Take and defend depositions of key fact witnesses and expert witnesses
- Engage in various modes of dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration
- Lead and mentor a team of attorneys
Requirements
- 10–20 years of Construction Litigation experience
- Admission to and good standing with the Florida Bar
- Demonstrated trial experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills
