About the role

As a Permanent Construction Litigation Attorney, you will be joining a dynamic team of legal professionals in the bustling legal industry. This position requires an individual who is passionate about law, has a deep understanding of construction-related disputes, and is ready to take on challenging cases. We're looking for a seasoned professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Civil Litigation, with a focus on construction litigation. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity for professional growth and development while working on complex and exciting cases.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of construction litigation cases, including construction defects, contract disputes, and delay claims.
  • Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation materials.
  • Conduct thorough legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on various construction-related matters.
  • Represent clients in court, arbitration, mediation, and other dispute resolution proceedings.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring that their legal needs are met and exceeded.
  • Collaborate with legal team members to develop case strategies and ensure effective case management.
  • Stay updated with changes in laws and regulations related to construction litigation.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Civil Litigation, specifically in construction litigation.
  • Active membership in the state bar.
  • Proven track record of effectively managing construction litigation cases from inception through resolution.
  • Excellent legal research and writing skills.
  • Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and team members effectively.
  • Proficient in legal research tools and software.

Pay

$100,000 – $160,000 per year
