About the role
Ashurst Perkins Coie LLP, one of Fortune’s Best Places to Work, seeks a Construction Litigation Associate Attorney in San Francisco, Palo Alto, or Los Angeles.
Responsibilities
- Litigate all types of construction disputes, including delay and disruption claims, payment disputes such as mechanic’s lien, bond, and stop notice claims, and breach of contract claims.
- Prepare and negotiate construction contracts, change orders, and other construction-related agreements.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of construction law or equivalent experience.
- Excellent academic credentials, strong references, and superb written and oral communication skills.
- Prior AmLaw 100 and judicial clerkship experience preferred; CA Bar membership is required.
Qualifications
Principals only. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance, personal medical and parental leave, up to ten paid Holidays, and family care benefits.

Pay
California compensation range: $260,000 to $365,000 annually. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
