About the role
Ashurst Perkins Coie LLP seeks a Construction Litigation Associate Attorney in San Francisco, Palo Alto, or Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of construction law or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Litigate all types of construction disputes, including delay and disruption claims, payment disputes such as mechanic’s lien, bond, and stop notice claims, and breach of contract claims.
- Prepare and negotiate construction contracts, change orders, and other construction-related agreements.
Requirements
- Experience litigating all types of construction disputes.
- Experience in preparing and negotiating construction contracts, change orders, and other construction-related agreements.
- Excellent academic credentials, strong references, and superb written and oral communication skills.
- Prior AmLaw 100 and judicial clerkship experience preferred; CA Bar membership is required.
Qualifications
- Law degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the California Bar.

California compensation range: $260,000 to $365,000 annually. Compensation depends on qualifications and experience.
