About the role

Michael Baker International is building its talent pipeline for upcoming transportation construction projects in the Asheville area. They are seeking expressions of interest from professionals across multiple levels of transportation and construction project delivery, including future opportunities for Construction Inspectors (Inspector I) and Senior Construction Inspectors (Inspector II).

Responsibilities

  • Support clients through all phases of construction, from pre-design to close-out.
  • Provide qualified construction managers, inspectors, constructability reviewers, schedulers, estimators, and safety experts.
  • Maintain and deliver successful construction projects through innovative ideas as new technologies evolve.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in construction management and inspection practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in construction management or inspection.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

  • Construction management software proficiency.
