About the role

Responsible for inspecting construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect buildings and structures to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Review plans and specifications for construction projects.
  • Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Document findings and prepare reports for clients and regulatory bodies.
  • Communicate with contractors and architects to address issues and provide guidance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction inspection.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform inspections in various weather conditions.

Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
  • Experience with project management software.
  • Good knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response procedures.

Pay

$50,000 - $60,000 annually.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
