About the role
Responsible for inspecting construction sites to ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Inspect buildings and structures to ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Review plans and specifications for construction projects.
- Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Document findings and prepare reports for clients and regulatory bodies.
- Communicate with contractors and architects to address issues and provide guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction inspection.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal building codes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to perform inspections in various weather conditions.
Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
- Experience with project management software.
