About the role
The City of Plano is seeking a Construction Inspector or Senior Construction Inspector to ensure the quality and safety of public infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Inspect construction activities
- Monitor contractor compliance with plans and specifications
- Cookordinate with contractors, engineers, utility companies, residents, and City staff
- Help keep projects on schedule
Requirements
- Minimum $26.472811 - $39.709217 hourly salary range
- Experience in construction inspection or related field
- Ability to work outdoors and solve problems
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Knowledge of construction standards and codes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
The target hourly range for the Construction Inspector is $26.47 – $39.71.
The target hourly range for the Senior Construction Inspector is $29.19 – $43.78.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm.
