Position Summary
This position is responsible for performing various job tasks on hazardous and non-hazardous waste sites. Work performed on hazardous waste sites may include possible exposure to lead, PCBs, H2S, arsenic, and various other metals, chemicals, and conditions.
Essential Job Functions
- Perform work in accordance with ENTACT safety policies and procedures.
- Haul material in trucks to site unloading area.
- Load and move dirt, rocks, equipment or other materials as needed.
- Safely drive and operate articulated dump trucks, loaders, straight end dump trucks and other wheeled construction equipment.
- Coincide machine operations with other activities.
- Position and move loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members.
- Take action to avoid potential hazards or obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
- Aid with the preparation and review of Job Safety Analyses, observations, and other reports.
- Promote the use of Stop Work Authority.
- Work independently as well as part of a team.
- Maintain deadlines and contribute to a positive, safe, high-quality culture in a fast-paced environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
