Key Responsibilities

  • Aid the Site Superintendent in managing day-to-day operations on the project site, ensuring efficient work and adherence to project specifications.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, progress, and any issues or concerns to the Site Superintendent.
  • Supervise and direct on-site personnel, including operators, laborers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Offer guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and compliance with company standards.
  • Enforce safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and address any potential hazards promptly.
  • Maintain and ensure consistent and accurate field reporting including daily reports, extra work orders, safety logs, and incident reports.
  • Inspect all equipment onsite daily and report to management with needed repairs.
  • Track project quantities for scheduling, record keeping, and billing in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in renewable energy and utility scale solar projects.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work 8-12 hours a day, 5-6 days a week.
  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Office program suite and web-based construction management programs.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $90,000-120,000+ based on experience
