Electrical Foreman, Construction
About the role
We are ARCO, a Family of Construction Companies, and we are currently seeking a Lead Electrician for our Electrical Division in Charleston, SC.
Responsibilities
- Review job calls each day
- Identify electrical problem areas on-site that need replacement or repair
- Perform repair or replace wiring when necessary
- Troubleshoot and ensure the electrical system is working properly before leaving the client location
Requirements
- 5+ years commercial experience
- Experience with gear packages, transformers, bending conduit
- Able to read and comprehend blueprints
- Able to meet deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Completion of an electrician program at a vocational school or an electrician apprenticeship
- Current electrician license
- 2+ years of electrician experience preferred
- Proficient with standard industry tools and techniques
- Able to read blueprints and schematic drawings
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
