Responsibilities
- Cook up all daily crew activities to maximize productivity and quality
- Understand plans, grade and specifications of a civil construction site
- Operate loader, blade, excavator, dozer, skid steer and rollers
- Work safely and prevent unsafe actions or behaviors
- Coordinate with team members, sub-contractors, trucking and suppliers
- Utilize HCSS Heavy Job to track daily quantities, use production reports and daily timecards
- Communicate with project managers/estimators and engineers as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in construction with emphasis on residential, commercial and heavy highway civil construction
- Valid driver’s license, CDL preferred
- Bend, stoop, lift, push, pull and stand for long periods of time
- Able to follow safety procedures
- Able to work flexible shifts including days, nights, some weekends
