Primary Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and coordinate a crew of carpenters and laborers on active job sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications; communicate scope clearly to crew members
- Plan daily tasks, assign work, and ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope
- Construct and oversee the building of frameworks such as walls, floors, and door/window frames
- Oversee installation of structures and fixtures (doors, cabinets, drywall, trim, etc.)
- Direct and assist with drywall installation, finishing, and repairs
- Coordinate and perform basic electrical, plumbing, and concrete work as needed
- Ensure quality control by inspecting work for accuracy, safety, and craftsmanship standards
- Train, mentor, and develop crew members to improve skill levels and productivity
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure proper use of equipment, including lifts and machinery
- Communicate regularly with project managers, contractors, and other trades to ensure alignment
- Track progress, materials, and labor needs; report updates to management
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient job site
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a carpenter with leadership or foreman experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and construction methods
- Demonstrated ability to lead crews, delegate tasks, and manage job site workflow
- Working knowledge of drywall installation and finishing
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems
- Experience with concrete work (forming, pouring, finishing) is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and team coordination skills
- Proficiency with carpentry tools, equipment, and construction machinery
- Solid math and measurement skills
- Physical stamina and ability to perform demanding tasks when needed
- Trained and experienced in safely operating scissor lifts, boom lifts, and skid steers

Physical Requirements
- Up to 90% travel that will include overnight and weekend travel
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- May be required to drive for long periods of time
