About the Role
Summit Broadband Inc., a leading fiber-based broadband provider, is seeking a Construction Coordinator to join our Outside Plant (OSP) team in Central Florida. This full-time, exempt position reports to the Outside Plant Manager and plays a critical role in delivering best-in-class residential, commercial, and hospitality technology solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own the entire service delivery process, from pre-sales to project completion and billing.
- Communicate daily with all Summit Broadband departments, vendors, customers, construction-permitting authorities, and other entities.
- Organize and lead project kick-off meetings.
- Track project components, including Bill of Material (BOM), Statement of Work (SOW), and vendor communications, on a daily basis.
- Manage project budgets and ensure timely delivery.
- Gather technical information and understand customer requirements during pre-sales activities.
- Explain Summit Broadband solutions to customers and set expectations internally and externally.
- Obtain feedback from internal and external customers.
- Use tracking tools or systems to manage projects.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- PMP credentials preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of previous Construction Project Management experience in telecommunications or telecommunications service provider.
- Strong technical background in telecommunications.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Willingness to work extended hours and travel as needed.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with tools required for the job.
- Must pass criminal, MVR, and drug testing.
