Qualifications
3 Years telecommunications technical experience.
Ability to problem solve technical situations.
Strong basic computer skills with Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Sheets.
Knowledge of National Electrical Code and G.O. 95.
Ability to prioritize competing tasks with deadlines.
Extreme organizational skills.
Ability to supervise and motivate others.
Knowledge of telecommunication products and services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Read Blueprints and engineering files.
Provide field constructability reviews and corrections to engineering plans.
Supervise, evaluate and report on subcontracting and in-house personnel’s performance.
Coordinate construction efforts through in-house and contract labor for new construction and rebuild projects.
Coordinate with engineers and project management in designing revisions to plant. Draw and sketch installation and location of equipment such as splice cabinets, cable routes, utility poles and pole anchors.
Monitor contractor performance and insure adherence to terms and conditions of agreements.
Perform site inspections for quality control.
Coordinate permitting, make-ready process and cable placement.
Manage relationships between contractors, crews, city officials and sonic.
Communicate with management or designated supervisor regarding concerns about construction progress.
Review and process damage claims, failed inspections or gigs.
Provide detailed updates to schedules and production rates on a daily and weekly basis.

$28 - $30/hour

Daily driving is expected. The Construction crew is exposed to varying climates and elements, determined by Mother Nature. Extreme heat, rain, dust and wind are to be expected.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to sit and stand; talk or hear; reach with hands and arms; key/type. The employee is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must lift and/or move up to 80 pounds.- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
