Construction Coordinator

About The Role
Primer is opening new campuses across the country, and every one of them is a construction project. Somebody has to be on those sites: walking the slab, chasing down answers, catching the problem before it costs more time. That's you. You're the field point of contact for everyone who touches our projects.
Responsibilities
- Submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), and schedules across all active projects.
- Your job is to keep things moving and keep HQ informed, in that order.
- Field documentation. Matterport scans, drone footage, progress photos and video, captured consistently so nobody has to guess what a site looks like.
- Warranty work. When something breaks after we open, you make sure it's logged, assigned, and fixed. You're the thread between construction, facilities, and compliance.
- Site walks at every stage: pre-acquisition, pre-construction, active construction, and compliance. You turn what you see into updates the real estate team can act on.
Requirements
- A degree in construction management, civil engineering, or architecture, or the hands-on experience that beats one.
- Comfort with heavy travel. Figure 70% of your time on the road, managing your own priorities across multiple live sites.
- The ability to translate field conditions into plain, actionable updates for a remote HQ team. You'll do this daily.
- Fluency in standard construction documentation: submittals, RFIs, schedules, close-out.
- Experience with Matterport and jobsite photo workflows, or the willingness to learn them fast.
- FAA Part 107 drone certification, or you'll get it within 90 days of hire.
- Low ego. You'll be building trust with everyone from a GC's project manager to a handyman working a punch list. This probably isn't for you if You want to be home every night.

- Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Architecture degree, or equivalent experience.
- 70% travel required.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
