Key Responsibilities
- Daily Field Coordination & Execution: Assess daily deliverables and assign field tasks to technicians on-site. Progress Tracking: Maintain real-time visibility into crew productivity, updates, and task tracking using Fieldwire construction management software. Material Logistics: Assist with ordering, gathering, and managing field supplies, materials, and rental equipment. Cross-Functional Alignment: Attend active site meetings and partner closely with Field Technicians, Quality Control/QA inspectors, Project Managers, and General Contractors. Union Environment Coordination: Facilitate daily operations and collaboration when working alongside Union crews.
- Project Administration & Documentation: PMO Standards: Apply established PMO processes, compliance rules, and methodologies consistently across all assigned projects. Document Control: Create, update, and maintain meticulous project documentation, tracking schedules, timelines, requirements gathering, and change-control data. Communication Hub: Serve as a primary point of contact between stakeholders, external vendors, and internal teams. Prepare agendas, PowerPoint presentations, and reports. Data Analysis: Analyze incoming project data—including resource utilization, schedules, and delivery performance metrics—to build recurring and ad hoc reports for operations leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 3-5 years of dedicated construction coordination or project assistance experience, specifically within the telecom services / low-voltage industry. Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of telecom infrastructure projects, terminology, and workflows, including inside plant (ISP) new builds, structured cabling (CAT 6/Fiber), cable patching, trunking, and rack-and-stack architectures. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (Equivalent professional experience will be considered in lieu of a degree).
- Software Proficiency: Required: Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and MS Teams. Soft Skills: High adaptability with transitioning priorities, an excellent "can-do" collaborative attitude, and superb written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Construction Systems: Hands-on working knowledge of Fieldwire (strongly desired). Labor Environment: Demonstrated experience working comfortably alongside Union crews and labor structures. Advanced Tools: Familiarity with PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, MS Project, PPM tools, ERP platforms, ServiceNow, or Salesforce.com. Specialized Builds: Past exposure to data center construction environments or large-scale network infrastructure retrofits.
