Construction Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Cover all phases of construction projects including pre-construction, permitting, design, material procurement, construction, and closeout
• Support planning of workflows, schedules, and resource allocation
• Ensure projects are executed in accordance with established standards and timelines
• Maintain project progress and proactively address delays or issues
• Develop and support cost estimates for construction projects
• Monitor job costs and track work-in-progress against budget
• Review and evaluate change orders for accuracy and financial impact
• Conduct site walkouts and ride-outs to assess project conditions, gather data, and monitor progress
• Perform post-construction reviews to ensure quality and completion standards are met
• Identify field issues and collaborate on solutions with internal teams and contractors
• Respond to requests and complaints related to construction activities
• Ensure timely resolution and maintain customer satisfaction

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in cable/telecom construction (fiber and coax preferred)
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in project coordination or supervisory roles preferred
• Knowledge: Full construction lifecycle (design through closeout)
• Experience: Telecom infrastructure deployment (aerial and underground)
• Skills: Budgeting, cost tracking, and financial coordination
• Experience: Contractor and vendor management
• Experience: Regulatory and permitting processes
