Actalent is seeking a Construction Coordinator to provide support to the Construction Management Team. This role serves as the coordination hub for the department, managing multiple project deadlines and priority tasks in the construction of cooling towers and related projects.
About the role
The Construction Coordinator acts as the central point of coordination for the Construction Management Team, handling a wide variety of project tasks to support multiple construction managers. This position requires a highly organized individual with familiarity in the construction industry, particularly cooling towers.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate directly with Construction Managers to provide overall general support.
- Manage, track, and summarize project documents, including:
- Daily Reports
- Manhour/Daily/Payroll Reports (MDP)
- Close-out Documents
- Shipping reports
- Contact equipment vendors to obtain equipment rates and set up accounts as needed.
- Upload completed MDP reports to the database.
- Act as Job-Specific Construction Coordinator on projects where a member of the Executive Management Group is the Construction Manager, with responsibilities including:
- Writing Execution Plans as outlined by the Construction Manager.
- Developing and distributing MDP reports.
- Assisting the Construction Manager with job-specific administrative tasks.
- Tracking equipment (e.g., radios, laptops, phones, vans, air monitors).
- Updating and maintaining the Labor Force and Equipment Rental databases.
- Maintaining and distributing the daily Action Item list for the Construction department.
- Tracking and recording hours worked each day per project.
- Facilitating logistics for field personnel when needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma and 5 years of construction experience (experience may substitute for higher education).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work a full-time schedule (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year.
