Construction Coordinator

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Coordinator to support construction projects in Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will have extensive field construction experience, preferably as a Construction Manager, Project Manager, General Contractor representative, or Owner's Representative. This role requires strong knowledge of construction processes, quality control, safety management, scheduling, and project documentation. This is a 6 month+ contract position based out of San Antonio, TX (local candidates only).

Key Responsibilities

• Review construction drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure work is executed according to project requirements.
• Evaluate construction schedules, develop 3-week look-ahead schedules, and facilitate whiteboard planning meetings to identify constraints and drive project progress.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to assign responsibilities and escalate issues to the Project Leader when necessary.
• Perform quality assurance and quality control inspections, including: concrete pre-pour inspections, framing inspections, electrical rough-in inspections, fire caulking inspections, structural inspections, commissioning support activities, including Kanban processes.
• Conduct constructability reviews to identify conflicts, ambiguities, and quality concerns within project drawings and specifications.
• Provide daily construction reports and progress updates.
• Create visual project progress exhibits and reporting dashboards using Bluebeam and Procore.
• Maintain strong field safety oversight and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and project safety requirements.

Required Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Certification (Required)
• Extensive construction experience in a field leadership role
• Previous experience as a Superintendent, Construction Manager, General Contractor representative, or Owner's Representative preferred

Schedule

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM. Full-Time with Overtime Pay Available.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Rate: $30-$38/hour. The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
