Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation and enforcement of BIM Execution Plans (BEPs/PXPs).
- Manage and maintain federated BIM models from multiple disciplines.
- Perform clash detection and coordination using Navisworks or equivalent software for internal QC check.
- Track, document, and distribute coordination issues to stakeholders and vendors.
- Support coordination meetings and assist with agenda preparation and follow-up.
- Ensure models comply with internal BIM standards and project requirements.
- Assist with model-based quantity takeoffs, phasing, and logistics as required.
- Cover coordination with project managers, superintendents, designers, and subcontractors.
- Maintain model version control and proper file management practices.
- Cover coordination with field teams with model access, visualization, and troubleshooting.
- Aid in the development of BIM workflows, templates, and best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 2-5 years of experience in BIM coordination or VDC-related roles.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks & Client.
- Strong understanding of construction documents and coordination workflows.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Understanding of LOD as per BIM Forum standards / BIM ISO 19650.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Familiarity with Dynamo, point cloud workflows & laser scanning.
- Experience supporting construction-phase BIM coordination.
- Understanding of VDC deliverables such as The Client/5D modeling.
- Experience in Architectural scope BIM Delivery such as drywalls, exterior panels, prefabricated panels...etc.
- Ability to guide a team into BIM modeling delivery at LOD 100-500.
