Construction Engineer

Responsibilities
- Assist on construction projects
- Provide inspection for various construction projects
- Aid in maintaining project documentation, including calculations, daily reports, and project filing
- Work under a Lead Engineer, performing tasks involving standard techniques, procedures, and criteria under supervision
- Interact with clients, consultants, subconsultants, and contractors
Requirements
- Engineering degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- At least 5 years of construction experience
- Familiarity with IDOT procedures and current IDOT Documentation of Contract Quantities certification
- Understanding of construction inspection practices
- Paving experience is a plus
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
Qualifications
You are a skilled engineer with a passion for transportation. Your background includes a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, coupled with extensive experience in the field. You have a proven track record of successful project management and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
