Construction Assistant Project Manager (Mechanical, Pipe, HVAC, Plumbing New Construction)

Responsibilities

• Aid in the development, management, and storage of all project documentation.
• Participate actively in project hand-off meetings to gather important job information before the construction phase begins.
• Prepare the construction budget and assist in developing and managing the construction schedule.
• Create and distribute RFI’s for clarification of project specifics.
• Collaboratively help price, negotiate, and formalize all changes in project scope.
• Manage safety, quality, and productivity of the project.
• Ensure the jobsite remains clean and orderly.

Qualifications

• Previous professional experience in project management or a BS/BA degree in Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or another related field.
• An OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR Training.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite and familiarity with construction safety and quality standards.
• Experience working with subcontractors and understanding contract and subcontract documents.
