Console Operator (Onsite- NYC)

Responsibilities

• Maintains and services work facilities to ensure they meet organizational and associate needs.
• Designs, plans, constructs, and maintains grounds and building infrastructure.
• Manages office activities such as office space and furniture, central supply, mail, print services, maintenance, records, document production, cafeteria, and other services for associates.
• Ensures physical security of the site by protecting assets and personnel.
• Maintains and reports on event alarms from the access control system and CCTV system.
• Monitors and resolves any event alarms received at the console monitoring station.
• Conducts roving patrol inspections of Broadridge facilities, both external and internal, and notifies the proper Broadridge authority of any issues.
• Keeps the Security Management Team informed of all security matters and issues.

Requirements

• High School diploma with a minimum of three years of experience in the security field.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Vigilant, reporting any security issues or incidents.
• Knowledge of filing and phone courtesy.
• Basic computer skills, including typing, MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
• CPR qualified preferred.

Qualifications

• Able to work from Monday to Friday, 7 am. to 3 pm., with shift subject to change based on coverage and department needs.
• Must have flexibility and be able to travel and perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Pay

The hourly salary range for this position is between $17.00- $18.00 per hour. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education. Bonus eligibility applies.
