Conservation Outreach Specialist

Position Details

Part-time (28 hours/week)
Based in Noblesville, Indiana
Flexible schedule with occasional evenings and weekends for community events
Professional development opportunities encouraged

Responsibilities

• Represent HCSWCD at community events and educational programs
• Cook up our quarterly e-newsletter
• Help manage our website and social media
• Build relationships with community partners
• Implement our new Conservation Academy
• Help residents discover programs and resources that improve our community and natural resources

Requirements

• Organized
• Curious
• Comfortable communicating with a wide variety of audiences

Qualifications

• Background in communications, education, community engagement, parks and recreation, nonprofits, or related fields
• Conservation experience is valuable, but not required
