Conservation Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Aid in the development and implementation of water conservation, water quality, and other initiatives.
• Create materials, resources, and content for various communication platforms.
• Foster public engagement for water conservation and sustainability initiatives.
• Develop water conservation resources and programs for Member Cities and Customers.
• Collaborate on regional conservation and stewardship initiatives and campaigns.
• Prepare and lead presentations and training sessions.
• Update annual reports and documents.

Job Requirements

• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural/Water Resource Management, Sustainability, or related field; 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with environmental programs focused on behavior change.
• Experience working with educators and students.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and executing events.
• Experience in public speaking and presentations.
• Experience with social media platforms.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Self-starter with cross-functional teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online tools.
• Knowledge of water industry, sustainability practices, and environmental stewardship.
