Conflicts Analyst

About the Role

The Houston, TX office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Conflicts Analyst to become part of our national Conflicts Department.

Responsibilities

• Conduct conflict checks for Attorneys, Secretaries, Paralegals and Administration firm-wide
• Review potential conflict hits and eliminate obvious non-conflict hits
• Forward the reviewed and distilled search results to the requesting attorney and Conflicts Attorney for their review
• Research companies to determine subsidiary/parent and other relationships for conflicts purposes
• Provide general information and answer questions from attorneys and staff regarding the conflicts process
• Assist with conflicts database maintenance in order to provide consistent and accurate reporting
• Monitor outstanding conflicts searches and assist with the proper filing of completed and closed searches

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a law office environment
• Ability to work within a team-oriented environment

Skills

• Experience with Intapp, iManage, and/or Aderant a plus
