About the role
Kilpatrick, a large international law firm, is seeking a Conflicts Analyst for our Conflicts Department in our Denver, Atlanta, Dallas, Houston or Washington DC office. This position will be part of our team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff providing a high level of service to both internal and external clients.
Responsibilities
- Reviews all complex searches and new attorney questionnaires for immediate conflicts.
- Conducts research in the firm’s conflicts database and commercial database services including both simple and complex searches on personal and corporate names to determine whether actual or potential conflicts exist.
- Prepares clear and concise reports explaining the results of specific conflicts searches, highlighting areas of potential conflict.
- Reviews conflict reports with the requesting attorney (if requested).
- Provides training, coaching, and mentoring for Conflicts Analysts and communicates with team members concerning work-related matters, providing assistance as needed.
Requirements
- College Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of two years in a law firm conflicts and/or new business intake role.
- Prior experience utilizing an automated conflicts system; Intapp Open experience preferred.
- Advanced oral and written communication skills, including the ability to understand, analyze, interpret, and prepare complex reports.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work productively with firm personnel at all levels.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency using online research tools such as Lexis, Standard & Poor’s Capital IQ, the Internet, and various other business/financial resources.
- Excellent writing skills.

Pay
- Denver and Washington D.C.: $34.87 to $39.49 per hour.
- Atlanta, Houston, and Dallas: $33.33 to $37.95 per hour.
