About the role
Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a Conflicts Analyst for our Miami, FL office to join our national Conflicts Department.
Responsibilities
- Conduct conflict checks for attorneys, secretaries, paralegals, and administration firm-wide.
- Review potential conflict hits and eliminate obvious non-conflict hits upon search completion.
- Forward the pared-down search results to the requesting attorney/team and Conflicts Attorney for their review.
- Monitor outstanding conflicts searches and assist with the proper filing of completed and closed searches.
- Research companies to determine subsidiary/parent and other relationships for conflicts purposes.
- Provide general information and answer questions from attorneys and staff regarding the conflicts process.
- Assist with conflicts database maintenance to provide consistent and accurate reporting.
- Work within a team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- College degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a law office environment.
- Experience with Intapp, iManage, and/or Aderant is a plus.
