About the role
This is an opportunity to contribute to the migration of legacy factories to AI autonomous manufacturing. This role will offer exposure to all areas of semiconductor manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Interact with business owners and customers in wafer fabrication operations and collaborate with internal IT teams.
- Support existing software models in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) for Fremont (FRE).
- Develop new process and manufacturing models to meet factory requirements.
- Collaborate with IT on bug identification and resolution and future MES development.
- Support and append existing legacy MES configuration.
- Develop new models to replace legacy MES.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Proven ability to excel in cross-functional team environments.
- Proficient coding ability.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated strength in problem-solving methodologies.
Skills
- Knowledge of or experience with semiconductor (or related) fabrication processes (preferred).
- Experience working in a semiconductor or related manufacturing environment (preferred).
- Experience using AI in an academic or professional setting (preferred).
