Configuration Asset Manager

Responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and create functional area drawing documentation and internal connection drawings (depicting complex data flows) as part of the overall DGS-X and AF BLUE drawing packages.
• Ensure all drawing documentation conforms strictly to the PMO’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP-102) for Enduring Systems and Open Architecture (OA).
• Promptly upload newly created and updated drawings to SharePoint and Intelink repositories immediately upon creation/modification, or at minimum on a quarterly basis.
• Collaborate with the PMO C/DM, IPTs, ARTs, Systems Team, and Platform Management to capture changes for new and ongoing infrastructure installations, submitting all new packages to the PMO C/DM Drawings team.

Qualifications

• Security Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent combined work experience.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of related technical or engineering support work experience. Minimum of 4 years of experience developing, managing, and publishing technical documentation in an enterprise or defense environment.
• Technical Skills: Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Visio for creating network, system, and connectivity architecture diagrams.
• Professional Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to documentation accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams (PMs, Engineers, and Military stakeholders). Demonstrated ability to work independently under minimal supervision as well as actively contribute to a team environment. Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
