This position is located in Fort Walton Beach, FL at Eglin AFB. The Configuration Analyst-Product Support is responsible for planning and coordinating preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications and schedules, and contract modifications, to ensure customer contract requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- Review contract to determine documentation required for each phase of project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system.
- Coordinate modification records for management control.
- Establish change orders and prepare for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.
- Review and analyze released engineering change data and coordinate changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.
- Support program configuration and data management requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ experience.
- Experience following documented rules and guidelines to ensure technical content meets internal and customer requirements.
- Experience with using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, and weekends.
- Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Secret security clearance within 365 days from submission (condition of employment).
- Ability to obtain and retain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission (condition of employment).
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge in mining and collecting data to ensure it meets customer requirements for end item sell off.
- Knowledge or demonstrated experience using PLM, ERP, and MRP software.
- Practice implementing and following configuration management and control principles.
- CMII certification.
Pay
Primary salary range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00. The above range represents a general guideline; base salary offers consider factors such as scope, responsibilities, candidate experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
