About the role

The Configuration Analyst will support the web-based system known as Harvest, used by the Child Nutrition Team for processing applications and claims.

Responsibilities

  • Resolve production issues within the Child Nutrition applications and claims system (Harvest) by partnering with vendors and stakeholders to report, track, and coordinate issue resolution through vendor ticketing systems, including monitoring progress and communicating status updates to stakeholders.
  • Manage system enhancement requests and develop technical language for implementation of those requests.
  • Provide input and recommendations regarding system improvements, business process efficiencies, and future technology needs based on analysis of program operations and system performance.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with partner agencies and vendors to ensure projects remain on schedule and contractual obligations are met.
  • Fulfill reporting requests made by Child Nutrition team and stakeholders, utilizing Excel and other tools such as Power BI for reporting and data visualization.
  • Create system design documents, flowcharts, and detailed requirements documentation.
  • Provide technical support, guidance, training, direction, and assistance to team members on implemented software.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with systems configuration and process improvement.
  • Familiarity with systems development lifecycle and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Experience in technical support and software implementation is desirable.
  • Knowledge of data management principles and practices is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher in computer science, information technology, data science, or related field AND three (3) or more years of experience in data administration, business analysis, statistics, computer programming or design work.
  • OR Six (6) years or more of data administration, business analysis, statistics, computer programming or design work.

Skills

  • Configuration experience with HR Systems (both on-premise and SAAS).
