Job Summary
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients from contract turnover through event execution
- Partner with clients to understand event goals, timelines, and expectations
- Conduct site visits and pre-event meetings across both properties
- Develop and manage Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), group resumes, and detailed event timelines
- Oversee on-site execution of meetings, weddings, conferences, and group events
- Cook up and manage logistics including catering, room setups, audio-visual, and guest accommodations
- Lead BEO and pre-convention meetings to ensure alignment across departments
- Anticipate and resolve operational challenges to ensure a seamless guest experience
- Proactively identify and execute strategic upselling opportunities across all events, including menu enhancements, premium experiences, and added services
- Partner with clients to enhance event scope while aligning with their goals and budget
- Manage group room blocks, cutoff dates, and event details to optimize revenue and profitability
- Monitor event budgets, forecast revenue opportunities, and track performance against goals
- Support billing, reconciliation, and financial reporting processes
- Partner closely with Food & Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Engineering teams across both resorts
- Ensure clear and consistent communication between departments and properties
- Support on-site teams during events to maintain service and brand standards
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in conference services, event planning, or hotel operations
- Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment strongly preferred
- Experience managing weddings, conferences, or large-scale events preferred
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue through upselling and client relationship management
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-property environment
- Experience with event management systems and Microsoft Office
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events
- Ability to lift up to 25–30 pounds occasionally
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
