Concrete Workers - Westover Road Slope Mitigation

Project: Westover Road Slope Mitigation in Gillette, WY. Estimated start date: 9/01/2026, estimated end date: 5/01/2027. Schedule: 40-50 hours per week.

About the role

S&S Builders is looking for self-motivated individuals interested in investing in a career in construction. Preference will be given to Wyoming residents who meet the requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project sites for construction activities
• Assist in demolition and building activities
• Load and unload materials
• Work with lumber and concrete
• Use air, electric, and pneumatic tools
• Perform general labor tasks
• Concrete forming and finishing activities, including:
  • Prepping sites for concrete
  • Setting forms
  • Pouring concrete
  • Smoothing and finishing concrete surfaces
  • Operating a variety of concrete finishing tools and equipment
• Smooth and finish surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, sidewalks, and curbs to specified textures using hand and power tools (floats, trowels, screeds)
• Signal concrete drivers to position trucks and facilitate placement of concrete
• Maneuver and control various types of heavy machinery used in construction-related activities, including:
  • Demolition of concrete paving and structures
  • Loading and unloading of demolition materials and aggregates
  • Excavation of soils
  • Operating and maintaining equipment used to construct roads, buildings, and other structures
• Operate a variety of tools and equipment

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen or a person authorized to work in the United States by an agency of the Federal Government
• Must have resided in the state of Wyoming for at least ninety (90) days immediately preceding application for employment
• Must have documentation for completing I-9 form for employer
