Concrete Workers

Typical Duties

• Preparing project sites for construction activities
• Assisting in demolition and building activities
• Loading/unloading materials
• Working with lumber and concrete
• Using air, electric, and pneumatic tools
• General labor

Other Duties

• Safely setting forms, pouring concrete, smoothing, and finishing concrete surfaces
• Operating a variety of concrete finishing tools and equipment
• Safely signaling concrete drivers in order to position trucks and facilitate placement of concrete
• Moving and controlling various types of heavy machinery used in construction-related activities
• Demolishing concrete paving and structures
• Loading and unloading demolition materials and aggregates
• Excavating soils
• Operating and maintaining equipment used to construct roads, buildings, and other structures

Requirements

• Safe operation of a variety of tools and equipment

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the United States by an agency of the Federal Government
• Residing in the state of Wyoming for at least ninety (90) days immediately preceding application for employment
