Concrete Laborer

About the role

The role involves performing various tasks related to concrete work including mixing, transporting, and placing concrete materials. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and following detailed construction plans.

Responsibilities

• Mixing concrete according to specified recipes and standards
• Transporting concrete from mixing areas to construction sites using trucks and other equipment
• Placing concrete in forms and ensuring proper compaction
• Assisting with the setup and dismantling of scaffolding and other construction equipment
• Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
• Communicating effectively with supervisors and other workers to ensure smooth project execution

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Experience in construction or related field preferred
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately

Qualifications

• Knowledge of concrete mixing and placement techniques
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and plans
• Good communication and teamwork skills
