About the Role

Join Southern States TOYOTAlift, a trusted provider of material handling solutions across Georgia and Central Florida. We partner with industry leaders in cement, concrete, stone, and mining operations, delivering durable Toyota IC pneumatic forklifts built for harsh conditions and rough surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain Toyota forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer sites and in the shop
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on IC pneumatic and other lift trucks
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections per manufacturer specifications
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed
• Collaborate with service team and parts department to ensure efficient repairs
• Respond to customer service calls and provide on-site support as needed

Qualifications

• Experience in forklift, automotive, diesel, or heavy equipment repair
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied environments

Skills

• Proficiency with electrical, hydraulic, and powertrain systems
• Customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Computer literacy for service documentation and parts ordering

Schedule

Full-time position with day shifts available. Occasional overtime and on-call rotations may be required based on customer needs.
