Industrial Concrete/Civil Workers

About the role

ICON Industrial (a branch of Triosim Corporation) is seeking experienced civil workers to support operations in the Northeast Pennsylvania area. For 40+ years, ICON has been a full-service industrial construction company based in Pennsylvania, serving manufacturers and heavy industry throughout the US.

Responsibilities

• Exercise safe and proper care for the environment, equipment, personnel, and the public
• Perform manual labor as needed
• Build, install, and remove wooden or metal forms
• Build form components on site to construct structure components including footings, columns, pier caps, deck overhangs, and parapets
• Perform concrete work, including reinforcement bar placement and concrete finishing
• Stand, stoop, bend, kneel, climb, and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions
• Handle, lift, carry, and set up parts and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds (23 kg)

Requirements

• 2+ years civil experience preferred but not required
• Experience in forms building, rebar setting, and concrete finishing
• General building construction experience a plus
• Ability and willingness to travel to various local job sites within a work week; rare but occasional out-of-town travel
• Required to possess and maintain a personal set of hand tools
• Ability and willingness to work overtime when necessary
• Expected to ensure workmanship meets or exceeds applicable industry standards and customer contract specifications
• Direct industrial construction experience will result in better compensation

Pay

Up to $30.00 per hour (experience dependent)

Schedule

Full-time, in-person position with local travel to job sites and occasional out-of-town travel. Overtime as needed.
