Concrete Finishing Lead

About the Role

Tindall Corporation is a leading precast concrete manufacturer with locations throughout the Southeastern U.S. This role supervises Specialty Finishers and Concrete Finishers in applying dry finish to concrete members, ensuring correct application and green-tagging prior to storage.

Responsibilities

• Follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment and high-quality products.
• Review shop cards with Manager.
• Verify dry finish for each bed form.
• Assign one or more Concrete Finishers – Class B for each concrete product.
• Instruct each Concrete Finisher on the required dry finish and special requirements for each product.
• Perform tasks such as sawing off strand ends, sacking concrete members, and rocking edges of panels as needed.
• Apply dry finish to meet production schedules.
• Apply rework to concrete products as needed.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
