Finishing Lead

Description

The Finishing Lead position at Smurfit Westrock is responsible for managing the performance of the gluing department, ensuring productivity, quality, and preventative maintenance. Key responsibilities include maintaining a safe and clean work environment, demonstrating competency in basic folds and machine operations, performing quality checks, and communicating effectively with management.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 5+ years of folder/gluer operation or 3-5 years experience as production lead
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Mechanical aptitude
• Compliance with workplace rules, policies, and procedures, including SQF and safety standards
• Physical requirements: frequent standing, lifting up to 60 lbs, walking, pushing/pulling, carrying, fingering, kneeling, bending, climbing, reaching, and grasping
