Concierge Security Supervisor - School Campus

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Concierge Security Officer who thrives on building meaningful connections and providing exceptional customer service in environments such as office towers, hotels, and shopping centers.

About the role

This position focuses on customer service and security, requiring strong interpersonal skills to engage with visitors, manage access control, and ensure safety across all shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer service duties, including welcoming, verifying identity, and guiding visitors
• Manage access control for the site
• Conduct regular patrols to identify potential risks
• Inspect security equipment and report maintenance needs
• Respond to incidents, provide first aid, and coordinate with emergency teams
• Answer questions in person or by phone
• Write incident reports and communicate security concerns
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Proficiency in basic phone and computer skills (Windows 10, MS Word, Excel, Email, typing)
• New York State Guard License required
• 2-4 years of prior experience in a supervisory role
• 2-4 years of hands-on experience with Windows 10, MS Office, and email

Preferred: Security, Military, or Law Enforcement experience.

Pay

Competitive hourly wage of $22.50 per hour.

Schedule

Set schedule: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with weekends required.

Site location: Bronx, NY.
