ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES
- welcoming resident guests
- after-hours package pickup
- addressing resident inquiries and concerns
- updating communication logs on active buildings
- providing resources to customers
- building strong relationships with current and future members of the apartment community
- marketing the property
- assisting with on and off-site resident events and initiatives
- social media posting, blogging, and internet presence
- working as part of the site team to ensure events are enjoyable environments
- answering the concierge phone line
- ensuring proper inventory in the Community Amenities area
- proactively communicating with management for issues or concerns
- reviewing the Activity Log and being ready to start work at the beginning of the shift
- maintaining an appropriate level of confidentiality regarding residents
- adhering to property guidelines and standards of performance
- maintaining the work area to an appropriate level of presentation
COMPETENCIES
- speaking, writing, and communicating effectively in English
- maintaining a professional appearance and complying with prescribed dress code policy
- being able to cope in a fast-paced environment and working under minimal supervision
IMPORTANT EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or Vocational school
- 1+ years of related experience
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- professional office environment
- uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines
- regularly required to stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time
- may need to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- stand and walk for extended or continuous periods of time
- ascend and descend staircases, ladders, and/or step stools
- remain in a stationary position (sit or stand) for 85% of the time
- operate office machinery
- lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 15 pounds occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 25 pounds of force constantly
