Concierge

About the role

This position is key to our goal of ensuring every patient and visitor has a positive experience. As the face of the hospital, you will be the first person patients and visitors interact with, providing exceptional customer service that mirrors the polite, positive assistance of airline hosts and hotel concierges.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and visitors with exceptional customer service.
• Provide directions or accompany patients and visitors to their destinations.
• Answer questions about hospital amenities, such as food, refreshments, gifts, and waiting times.
• Offer refreshments to those in waiting areas.
• Assist individuals with special needs.
• Keep patients and visitors updated regarding their loved one’s procedure and expected discharge time.

Requirements

• Previous hospitality experience as a host/hostess/concierge in the hotel, airline, or cruise ship industry or similar hospitality experience is required. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Applicable college courses or hospitality training is a plus.
