Job Summary
The Concessions Supervisor is responsible for directing and responding to guest questions and needs. The Supervisor is responsible for 3-4 stands during the event and the initial set up of products. The supervisor should understand the content of the menu and ensure the timely delivery of food. Strict following of food and safety guidelines are required.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Makes preparations for the event by meeting with directors to go over details.
- Serves as a supervisor during check-ins and breakdowns for the zones they cover (3-4 zones).
- Ensures all food and beverage are properly displayed and maintained throughout the event.
- Knowledgeable on all menu offerings and establishes rapport with guests.
- Helps guests with seating arrangements and upselling techniques.
- Completes all event set-up and breakdown responsibilities within the provided timelines.
- Performs post-event product inventory and restocks, as needed.
- Creates, modifies, and closes sales checks in point of sale.
- Understands all event paperwork and reports.
- Maintains service areas and follows location appearance guidelines.
- Supervises and completes the open and closing stand sheets.
- Employs good safety and sanitation practices.
- Follows responsible alcohol service policies.
Essential Job Duties
- Stand for long periods of time and be able to actively engage physically with guests.
- React with physical and mental alertness in emergency situations.
- Demonstrate physical stamina and agility required to be mobile for long periods throughout the day.
- Lift/move materials and equipment up to 50 pounds.
