Job Summary
Levy at American Airlines Center is seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused event-based part-time Concessions Supervisor to lead daily concession operations during sporting events, concerts, and other premier entertainment experiences. This role is responsible for supervising multiple concession stands, supporting team members, maintaining operational excellence, and delivering an exceptional guest experience while ensuring compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and cash handling procedures.
Essential Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations of multiple concession stands, ensuring efficient, safe, and guest-focused service.
- Lead, coach, and support concession team members before, during, and after events.
- Provide exceptional guest service by greeting guests, resolving concerns, and responding to questions in a professional manner.
- Ensure team members understand menu offerings, pricing, promotions, and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with managers and other departments to ensure seamless event execution.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory or management experience.
- Minimum of one (1) year of food and beverage, hospitality, or concession experience.
- Previous stadium, arena, entertainment venue, or high-volume hospitality experience preferred.
- Valid ServSafe Food Handler Certification and TABC Certification (or the ability to obtain within the required timeframe).
- Strong leadership, customer service, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume, and sometimes loud event environment.
