Concessions Attendant

About the Role

Calder Casino, located in Miami Gardens, FL, is seeking a Concessions Attendant to join our team. As a Concessions Attendant, you will handle food prep orders, provide exceptional customer service, and ensure our guests have a clean and comfortable visit. Experience in a fast-paced environment is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service to both internal and external guests.
• Greet guests approaching the service area.
• Prepare and sell all food items on the menu and handle all cash transactions.
• Clean and sanitize all food service equipment used to prepare and serve menu items.
• Operate all equipment in the concession stand.
• Maintain current knowledge of daily menus and prices.
• Ensure proper stock of product and supplies needed for service.
• Perform opening and closing inventories.
• Ensure the safety and security of employees and guests.
• Perform clean-up duties in the stand to maintain the quality appearance of the work area, including cleaning equipment.
• Stand for 8-10 hours.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Knowledge of concession stand operations.
• Ability to maintain interpersonal working relationships among all personnel.
• Treat all internal and external guests in a manner ensuring complete satisfaction, always striving to exceed expectations.
• Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Company’s Service Standards.
• Able to interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner.
• Ability to work effectively with others.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and handle high-pressure situations in an interruptive environment.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• One-year concession experience is preferred.
• Ability to obtain a valid gaming license.
