Concession Worker | Part-Time | Greensboro Coliseum Complex

Responsibilities

• Cash register sales: take orders, build orders, complete transactions.
• Food preparation and order management: knowledge of all concessions operations areas.
• Stock maintenance: monitor and report low-stock items to the manager.
• Customer service: listen to and respond to customer requests or concerns.
• Workplace cleanliness: maintain a clean and organized workspace, including waste disposal and dish cleaning.
• Serving beverages: serve beverages, including alcoholic drinks, responsibly.
• ID verification: check guest IDs according to state/federal regulations to ensure minimum age requirements for alcohol purchases.
• Sanitation and safety: adhere to sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Three or more months’ experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Ability to learn to operate a cash register and related systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

The Greensboro Coliseum Complex is a versatile multi-building facility serving the community of Greensboro and its surrounding areas. It hosts a wide array of events, including athletic competitions, cultural arts showcases, concerts, theater performances, educational activities, fairs, and exhibitions. The complex includes the 22,000-seat First Horizon Coliseum, the 167,000-square-foot Special Events Center, and the White Oak Amphitheatre, among others. It annually hosts over 1,100 events and is known for its flexibility and reputation.
