About the role

Engage in activities related to the following in support of Concept Center projects: CAD design, machining, welding, drafting, testing, engineering consultation, 3D printing, general fabrication, project management, reporting on progress, presenting to Concept Center customers, and other duties as assigned. This is a pooled position; applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in Engineering or Engineering Technology program

Qualifications

Preferred experience in a minimum of three of the following areas:

• CAD design
• Machining
• Welding
• Drafting
• Testing
• Engineering consultation
• 3D printing
• General fabrication
• Project management
• Composites layup

Pay

Hourly pay rate: $11.75–$15.00, depending on experience.

Schedule

• Hours per week: 15–20
• Months per year: 12
• Varied schedule as needed to accommodate a class schedule
