Computer Support Associate I - Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to provide onsite Tier 2 desktop support and help maintain critical computing infrastructure for end users in a hands-on, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and replace desktop and laptop computers
• Perform Windows 10 to Windows 11 upgrades
• Image and configure computers for end users
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
• Manage printer installations, maintenance, and relocations
• Track and update IT assets in ServiceNow and related systems
• Dispose of outdated equipment following established procedures
• Resolve technical issues using knowledge base articles and documented processes
• Support conference rooms, end-user devices, and local IT infrastructure
• Maintain inventory and assist with equipment lifecycle management
• Communicate effectively with users and document support activities

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience
• Understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, and security fundamentals
• Experience with Microsoft Office and standard desktop applications
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and follow documented procedures
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel locally as needed
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Qualifications

• 1+ year of IT support experience (preferred)
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, or other scripting tools (preferred)
• Familiarity with ServiceNow or IT ticketing systems (preferred)
• Experience with computer imaging, deployments, and asset management (preferred)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must wear metatarsal safety boots on site

Pay

$25 an hour

Schedule

Must be flexible to work both 1st and 3rd shift as business needs require.

• 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: 6:00 PM – 5:00 AM
