Computer Support Associate

Pay rate: $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law.

Responsibilities

• Recognize problems with processes/operations and resolve them using pre-established, documented solutions.
• Report problems that fall outside the scope of established procedures to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and data supporting processes or operations, including:
  • Scheduling routine equipment maintenance.
  • Ordering supplies and monitoring inventory.
  • Updating data records.
  • Interacting with suppliers.
• Apply technical knowledge to support processes or operations, such as:
  • Understanding basic printer operations to replace toner and pickup rollers.
  • Troubleshooting end-user tickets by following knowledge base articles.

Requirements

• Knowledge of computing and networking concepts and fundamentals.
• Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office, as well as intranet and internet functions.
• Knowledge of computer security policies and general computer security concepts.
• 1 year or more of IT experience preferred, but recent college graduates will be considered.

Qualifications

Degree in an Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience. High school or secondary diploma or equivalent required.
